  • Where do you ship?
    We ship worldwide. However, we kindly ask our customers to inform themselves about import taxes and duties in their home country, as these must be borne by the customer. Find more info here.
  • How much does shipping cost?
    We ship from our warehouses in Luxembourg and the UAE. We offer free shipping on all orders to Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany and the UAE, with no minimum purchase required. For our EU customers, we provide free EU-wide shipping on all orders over 150 EUR. For customers outside the EU, we offer free shipping on orders over 300 EUR. For European orders under 150 EUR, we have established different shipping zones, each with its own flat rate: Zone 1 – 3,95 EUR per order: Austria Zone 2 – 4,95 EUR per order: Czech Republic, Denmark, Italy, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland Zone 3 – 6,95 EUR per order: Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Moldova, Andorra, San Marino, Vatican City Zone 4 – 7,95 EUR per order: Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta Zone 5 – 8,95 EUR per order: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gibraltar, Kosovo, Macedonia (North Macedonia), Morocco, Serbia, Turkey Zone 6 – 12,95 EUR per order: All other countries worldwide Zone 7 – 3,95 EUR per oder: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia Your shipping costs will automatically be calculated during checkout, as they vary on your location and final price of the order.   • Are you shipping to packing stations?
    Unfortunately we cannot ship to packing stations. Please only use a valid home (or office) address. Find more info here.
  • Will I receive an email once I place an order?
    We send 2 automatic emails: one to confirm your order, and one with tracking information once your parcel has been fulfilled. Depending on your email provider, you may receive those emails in your 'Spam' folder. If it happens, you can mark the email as important, move it to your 'Inbox' and add our contact email to your contacts in order to receive future communications about your order. Find more info here.
  • How long will it take for my order to arrive?
    It depends on where you are and how busy our warehouse is. We usually ship the package within 1 to 3 business days. Please allow up to 15 business days for your order to arrive. Before accepting the delivery, please make sure that the parcel is not damaged and no item was removed. Find more info here.
  • Can I change or cancel my order?
    Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel your order yourself, but our customer service can do this for you. Simply contact us via live chat, or email hakoum.studios@gmail.com
  • What is your return policy?
    You can return our jewelry within 14 days of receiving it. Please read more here on our Page "Shipping & Return Policy" for all the steps to follow.
  • When will I receive my refund?
    If the return is approved, your refund will be processed in the same manner as the original payment method within 10 business days of receipt of the returned item. Find more info here.
  • Where do you source your materials?
    All of the materials used in our pieces are sourced within the Levant region. We are dedicated to ethical practices; thus, our materials are either recycled or secondhand/ vintage. Every gem, stone and metal is handpicked by either Sanaa, our production manager, and/ or the artisans themselves.
  • Is each piece unique?
    Each piece of HAKOUM jewelry is handcrafted and produced in small batches. Because of the meticulous handcrafting process, minor variations can occur from one piece to another, adding a unique charm and personality to each item. So in essence, every piece of jewelry you purchase from us has its unique touch, making it exclusively yours.
  • How do you come up with your designs?
    Our design process involves several methods to ensure our products are both authentic and appealing: Team Collaboration: Our team of co-founders works closely together, incorporating feedback and ideas from artisans to create unique designs. Co-Designing: We collaborate directly with artisans from the very beginning, ensuring their skills and creativity are integral to the final product. Artisan-Driven Designs: We offer designs that have been entirely developed by our talented artisans, celebrating their traditional craftsmanship. Community Inspiration: We gather feedback and design ideas from friends, family, and our community, adapting these inspirations into our creations. The Levant region remains our constant source of inspiration. Our designs always reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Levant, blending traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics.
  • How do I care for my HAKOUM jewelry?
    In regards to the gold-plated copper jewelry, avoid contact with chemicals, cosmetics, and sharp objects. It’s best to put your jewelry on last when dressing up and to take it off first when undressing. Clean it gently with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dirt or dust. Store each piece separately in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to maintain its elegance and prolong its life. You can find our care guide here.
  • Can I order custom-made jewelry?
    Yes, we offer made-to-order pieces. If you have a special design in mind or specific requirements, don’t hesitate to contact us (hakoum.studios[at]gmail.com).
